Thank you so much for visiting our website. It was my great honor to serve the City of Tallahassee on the City Commission and as our first Leadership Mayor. During my ten years of service, we were able to accomplish a great deal. With the help of many Tallahasseeans, we expanded our parks and open spaces (named Best in the Nation), started an award winning race relations program, added carriers and low cost flight options at our airport, supported small business, built sensible road and stormwater improvements, and saw Tallahassee named as an All-America City.

I am especially proud that we were able to accomplish our goals while keeping taxes and utility rates down. Today, more than ever, we need proactive leadership for our city. In the current economic crisis many are suffering, and we see government employees often being made the scapegoats by the special interests. Tallahassee is a wonderful place to work, live and learn. I grew up here, and now watch our children enjoy the same schools and parks that I did years before. Our next generation deserves a city full of opportunity and promise. As your City Commissioner, I will work tirelessly to ensure that Tallahassee will indeed be a shining example of a great city. I would be honored to have your support.
